Celtic horoscope - Maple

back

Brief description

Independent, critical, freedom-loving, idealistic, with social feeling, helpful. Their motto: Make up your own mind!

Strengths

People born in the sign of Maple do not want to go with the flow. They want to leave everything ordinary behind. They have a strong need of independence and freedom. They want to live their own life therefore they cannot be forced into conventions. Maples hate traditional rules, being forced to do something and prejudices. They search for stimuli and a life without restrictions. They long for unprejudiced mind; they want to know everything and be good at everything. It does not have to be scientific knowledge though - intuitive brilliance would be enough. They enjoy unconventionality. However, if they did not take life as it is they would not be able to live with such a provocative attitude.

Weak points

People born in Maple need a lot of but an enormous need of freedom makes their relationships difficult. In some cases their striving for independence can lead to fear they will get too bound and they may even be unable to establish a relationship. Their otherness is also reflected in the fact that although they are adaptable they do not want to integrate or even subject to somebody – thus conflict situations are more than probable. They are also unpredictable. Their inner restlessness does not allow them finish their great ideas therefore they get impatient, irritated and intolerant. Considerable nervousness and eccentricity are weak points of this unstable, extreme character, too.

What should Maples be careful about?

People born in the sign of Maple need a maximum life space for their development. They need a (spiritual) conflict with other philosophies and cultures and they best profit in a tolerant, generous environment where they can think anything and try anything. Restrictions, conventions and previously set frame conditions which they should follow are their poison. Freedom is not just a word for Maples. They have to feel it. In jobs that require rigid thinking they languish. Unfortunately, people born in this sign like to develop a social "syndrome of helping" and then they get involved in such life situations that they cannot deal with – but they do not want to admit it in any case. It seems as if they were looking for particularly bitter experience and painful challenges even though they definitely know that this cannot be the meaning of their life. Even though they have social conscience they were not born as martyrs. Dealing with different ways of life and searching for self-realization should therefore take place rather on an abstract level as Maples do not search for limitedness but for the actual size. A generous lifestyle is the best for them. They will (unfortunately) learn about self-restrictions themselves.

We have to let young Maples acquire experience. They should be allowed to go through their idealistic period – then they will develop to charismatic people. The more spiritual challenges they have the move they will develop their wisdom, creativity and positive thinking.

Maples are born individualists and optimists. Moodiness, negative thinking and disappointment are a certain sign that something is preventing them from their independence and self-realization. In this case they quickly have to return to themselves otherwise they will get embittered for good. Furthermore they must not have a feeling that somebody forces them to something.
