Brief description
Hypersensitive, full of fantasy, intellectual, artistic, tender, voluptuous. Their motto: I wan to perceive eternity!
Strengths
People born in Yew are sensitive, kind and voluptuous. They always seek the absolute and ultimate wisdom. Their rich imagination endows them with great creativity. Due to their enormous sensitivity and pessimistic moods which are so characteristic for them they need a home that provides them with warmth, support and safety. If their surroundings identify with what Yews do their great artistic talent will become evident. If they feel true love they make an ideal partner.
Weak points
Yews tend to be gloomy and they sometimes even long for death which causes them great emotional crises. With their ability of immense mental and spiritual immersing they are capable of great enthusiasm and partly euphoric exaggerated love, but also of immense grief. Severe depressions may evolve from their grief. They often tend to hide their vulnerability using aggressive defense mechanisms. Their gloomy and cynical moods often provoke severe conflicts with their surroundings.
What should Yews be careful about?
People of this sign have a great mystic aura. Their frequent gloominess probably rises from the fact that they intuitively see the great secrets of life and the reality behind a vision – or at least they guess so. Their ability of abstract, absolute thinking goes so far that they question almost everything to come to pure truth. Restlessness and confusion is a sign that they urgently need somebody who will help them come back to solid ground. The Yews are best realized in the art. There they can show their ability to break traditions and taboos and they can become pioneers of new, pure thinking. Thanks to astonishing progressivity and clarity they greatly enrich the society.
They accept criticism with difficulties. They do not take any secular criticism seriously. Nobody in the world knows what is right. Only Yews occasionally guess so! They react to authorities negatively. We can see this on yew trees in the nature: they almost never occur in the plant community.
And finally Yews should keep in mind that they have to be close to the nature. If they move to a city behind concrete walls they can easily subject to dangerous spiritual games and they can lose the sense for reality.
