A hare is a timid small creature with a lot of natural enemies. It is not equipped to fight. It has long front teeth that serve for eating food – nothing more. Its body is adapted for constant escapes and running. And the fact that it is a herbivore is just the last point in the long list of qualities that make it an easy victim. No wonder it is constantly afraid for itself and its loved ones.
